Sicily has a specific administrative and legal identity within the Italian system. As an autonomous region with its own regional government, the Sicilian administrative landscape produces documents with particular characteristics that differ from standard Italian administrative forms. We have been working with these documents for five years and know which conventions apply where.

Official Italian documents cover a wide range: civil registration documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, educational qualifications and transcripts from Italian institutions, company registration documents from the Camera di Commercio, tax and revenue documents, social security and pension documentation, and all manner of administrative correspondence from regional and municipal authorities.

We also handle documents that move in the other direction: foreign documents being translated into Italian for use within Italian administrative, judicial, or institutional systems. For foreign nationals living or working in Sicily and the wider Agrigento province, this is a regular requirement. We understand what Italian authorities need to accept a translated document and can advise on the form of the translation before starting.

For certain document types, the translation alone is not sufficient and a sworn declaration is required. Our translators are registered with the relevant Italian courts and provide the full sworn translation package for those situations.
